Children entering first grade through sixth grade in September are encouraged to join the Island Trees Summer YES Program where computers is one of the listed courses.  Surfing the Internet and playing many of the networked software programs in the cool air-conditioned computer lab are some of the relaxing experiences for the children.

The Island Trees YES program is dependent upon the passing of the school budget in May.  More information will be sent home concerning the Summer YES program in the spring from the district office.
