Parents, please remember to put your child's first and last name and room number on EVERYTHING (coats, gloves, hats, lunch boxes, eyeglass cases, backpacks)

THE SCHOOL STORE WILL BE OPEN ON THE DAY OF THE SEPTEMBER ORIENTATION PROGRAM FROM 1:00 - 4:00 P.M.

IT WILL ALSO BE OPEN EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL.

All Grades

NO SLIP ON OR PLATFORM SNEAKERS ARE PERMITTED IN GYM CLASS. ALSO NO ROLLER SNEAKERS ARE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL. Children will be restricted from playing gym if they don't have velcro or tied sneakers due to safety reasons.

No high-heeled sneakers permitted in gym class because they are unsafe when playing running games.


A specific teacher may ask for a few additional items in September.

Grade 2

2    marble hardcover notebooks-at least 200 pages or 100 sheets

1    folder-2 pockets on bottom

2    boxes #2 lead sharpened pencils (YELLOW ONLY-TO BE SHARED)

1       box crayons (maximum 24 crayons)

1       pair of safety scissors

1       plastic box (10” long x 7” wide x 3” high –no larger—without top)

1       large box of tissues

4    LARGE glue sticks (ELMERS) for September

4    LARGE glue sticks (ELMERS) for January 2013 (you may purchase this in Sept. if you

      would choose)

1    yellow highlighter

1    package of quart size Ziploc bags (BOYS)

1    package Crayola colored pencils (BOYS)

1    package of 3 by 5 white lined index cards (BOYS)

1    7.625oz bottle of Elmer’s Liquid Glue (GIRLS)

1    package of gallon Ziploc bags (GIRLS)

1    package Crayola Broad Line Markers (GIRLS)

1     folder for Library- 2 Pockets on the bottom

Grade 3


Names on everything, including pens and pencils, please.

1         box quart size Ziploc baggies

1         box of tissues (Large)

3     red pens

12       sharpened pencils #2 lead

1            eraser

1            12” ruler with metric and standard rulings

1            pair of scissors

1            box crayons (maximum 24 crayons) and colored pencils

1            box of colored markers (8 maximum)

5     150 sheet marble notebook (1 for Library)

4     2-pocket plastic folders (pocket on bottom not side) one will be used for music and

       one for library

2     large solid- type glue sticks

1     yellow highlighter

2     thin black (flair) markers

1     package of post-its (size 3 x 3)

1     box to hold student supplies – no larger than 9” x 6”

1     black fine point sharpie

1     Marble Notebook - for Library

1     Folder - for Library

Optional:

1     box antibacterial wipes for children (ex. wet ones)

1              Pair Fiskars pointed scissors

2              Highlighters (different colors)

2              Flair pens (black)

1      Small plastic box w/lid to hold school supplies

2      packages of 3X5 lined index cards

All Grades

 

Dress Code:
1. Laced Sneakers preferred or Velcro
   NO platform, open-backed, heelies or slip-on sneakers! No Maryjane type shoes.
2. Dress in comfortable clothing.
   Sweats, shorts & tee shirts preferred because Jeans may be constricting.
3. NO JEWELRY on PE days.

These Rules will be strictly enforced!
