Sparke & Stokes Elementary Schools Closing and Early Dismissal Days

School is closed for the following holidays and conference days. School closings and early dismissal days are also listed on the Island Trees School District calendar.

If school is to be closed because of inclement weather or other emergency, the following radio and TV stations may announce the closing: 740, 1010, 1100, 1240, 1290 or click on the link below for Cablevision News12 Long Island. Announcements will be made for the Island Trees School District, and should not be confused with announcements for the Levittown School District. A phone chain is also set up through the PTA.

	November 7, 2011 - Teacher Conference - 11:45am Early Dismissal
	November 8, 2011 - Teacher Conference Day - No School
	November 11, 2011 - Veteran's Day - No School
	November 24 & 25, 2011 - Thanksgiving Recess
	December 23, 2011 Early Dismissal - 1:25pm
	December 24, 2011 through January 2, 2012 - Holiday Recess
	January 16, 2012 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day -No School
	February 6, 2012 -Early Dismissal @11:45AM, Elementary Parent Conferences
	February 20 through February 24, 2012 - Winter Recess
	April 5, 2011 through April 11, 2012 - Spring Recess

	June 22, 2012 - Last Day of School, Early Dismissal 10 AM
