Our elementary music program offers our students many exciting avenues to discover music. All of our students in Kindergarten through fourth grade receive one period of general music instruction a week.

Our instrumental and vocal programs begin in the third grade. Our fourth grade students have the opportunity to join performing groups such as band, chorus and orchestra.  Fourth grade band and orchestra students may receive instruction in a musical instrument.  Half-hour lessons are given weekly and students may be pulled from class for the lessons.

The morning band and orchestra rehearsal will begin on Friday, March 14th at 7:45AM.  The entire band will meet in the Stokes School gym while the orchestra will meet in the Sparke School gym.  Upon completion of the morning rehearsals, the teachers will escort the students back to their schools. Letters will be sent home.
