Multisensory Instructional Packages (MIPs)
These are self-contained boxes of varied resources designed to individualize learning. The MIPs include one CAP, one Programmed Learning Sequence (PLS), accompanied by one tape, Floor Game, four different Manipulatives, one Electroboard, one Flip Chute, one Pic-A-Hole, one set of Task Cards, and directions for use. As an instructional resource, the MIP is designed to teach a number of objectives on the same unit or topic, but with variety to increase student interest while simultaneously providing reinforcement (Dunn & Griggs, 2004).
