Mr. Radcliffe has been a guidance counselor at Island Trees Middle School for
16 years and served as chairperson for the past 10 years. Mr. Radcliffe has a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Master of Science in Education with a
specialization in School Counseling from Hofstra University. In addition, Mr. Radcliffe
received his second Masters from Touro College in 2005 for School Administration.
Since being at Island Trees Mr. Radcliffe has been invited to share his expertise on Middle School
Counseling and Child Development at the following conferences and Schools: New York State
Association for Counseling and Development, Long Island Counselors Conference, New York State
Middle School Association, Hofstra University Counseling Club, C.W. Post Counseling classes,
Plainview Guidance Staff, Syosset Guidance Staff, Floral Park Guidance Staff, Suffern Guidance
Staff and Superintendent's Conference days in Connetquot and Saxton Public Schools.
In addition
to counseling, Mr. Radcliffe coaches the Boys Varsity soccer team. Mr. Radcliffe was an
All-American soccer player in High School and played Division 1 soccer for the Hofstra Pride.
He was an assistant coach for Hofstra University and recruiter, Director of soccer camp for
Hofstra and holds a National "C" Soccer Federation coaching License. These experiences have
helped him with his duties as the Boys Varsity soccer coach, as the Bulldogs have won two
league titles, 3 Final Four appearances, 15 straight appearances in the playoffs and One County
Championship under his tenure. In addition, Mr. Radcliffe has been named coach of the year
3 times. Mr. Radcliffe immensely enjoys his work helping all the students and athletes strive for success.
