This course is New York State mandated at the middle school level and is designed to focus on families, careers, and their relationships. This is meant to be a fun, creative and vital course now and in all students’ futures. The curriculum modules include: Process Skills such as decision-making and problem solving, Personal Development of the self and relationships with others, Personal and Family Management of personal environment, nutrition, clothing, finances, consumerism and Career Planning. Our mission is to prepare individuals to be competent, confident, and caring in managing their personal, family and work lives.
