Celebrating halloween

The students and staff at J. Fred Sparke Elementary had a ball celebrating Halloween this week.  The students all wore their costumes to school and had a fantastic time parading for an enthusiastic crowd of parents and family members.  Following the parade, the students enjoyed parties in their classrooms.  The PTA hosted a pumpkin patch where the students selected their own pumpkins.  The celebrations were capped off with a PTA-sponsored assembly program, "Mad Science Spooky Spectacular."  Last week, the PTA also hosted a Halloween-themed carnival for all elementary students and families.  Thanks to our PTA, the Halloween spirit thrives at Sparke!
