Mrs. Leiann McGrory, orchestra director for Island Trees Memorial Middle School and High School, was recently selected to conduct the Suffolk County Long Island String Festival Association Orchestra!  Mrs. McGrory led the Elementary School Orchestra, comprised of the top student-musicians in Suffolk County, in a concert of Mozart, Yamada, Phillips and Tchaikowsky at Commack Middle School.  In addition to leading the Island Trees Orchestras, Mrs. McGrory teaches in the district's Summer Music Program, co-directs the HS Theater Program, has performed at the NYSSMA Major Organization Festival for the past eight years, and is Past President of LISFA.
