J. Fred Sparke
Elementary students and their families recently
participated in one of the school’s favorite holiday
traditions -- the PTA’s Family Holiday Craft Night.
With the help of members of the Island Trees
Memorial Middle School's National Junior Honor
Society, the elementary students had a wonderful
time creating crafts to decorate their homes for the
holidays. The children were also able to visit
Santa, give him their wish lists, and have Mom or
Dad take their photo with him. Santa was so happy to
be able to spend some time with the children. Many
children purchased raffles and went home with
wonderful prizes including a new bicycle, an i-pod
shuffle, and many other terrific items. The event
was held in conjunction with the PTA’s Holiday
Boutique, so the children and their families were
also able to do holiday shopping. The magical event
added to the Sparke holiday spirit!
