Recently, Mr. Nick Grande, Island Trees High School principal, shared the results from the January 2010 English Regents.  Incredibly, 98% of our students passed this comprehensive six hour exam.  In the last five years, our passing rates have been between 93-98%, so our students compare very well to past classes. More impressive, however, 73% of our student passed at mastery (scoring 85 or better).  For the last five years, our mastery rates have fluctuated been between 39-59%.  The 73% mastery rate is outstanding and a testament to the hard work put forth by staff and students.  Congratulations!
