Children Helping Children

Stokes third grade students learned a valuable lesson in generosity and caring for the less fortunate. The third grade students at the Michael F. Stokes School collected school supplies for children in need. The five third grade classes worked together by bringing in school supplies that filled two large baskets. The baskets were filled with markers, crayons, notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, binders, glue sticks and rulers. A big thank you to the third graders and their families for their generosity! All donations were given to Little Flower Children and Family Services.
