Highlights Archive       Red Ribbon Week at J. Fred Sparke School

Dear Island Trees School Community,

The students at the J. Fred Sparke Elementary School in Island Trees recently participated in Red Ribbon Week, a week that encourages students to make healthy, positive choices and to stay drug-free.  During each day of the week, students celebrated with a different theme.  On the final day, the school’s theme was “I Can, You Can, We All Can.”  Students brought in canned goods to donate to Island Harvest.  The week’s activities were coordinated by the school’s guidance counselor, Mrs. Jill Tepper, pictured here with Sparke students.

Island Trees students succeed with their generosity as well.

Thank you Sparke students!
