Dear Island Trees School Community,

 

 

This holiday season, the Island Trees Memorial Middle School’s Kiwanis Builders Club, led by their advisor Ms. Anne McKenna, held a toy drive to collect toys for needy children throughout Long Island.    Large donation boxes were decorated and placed on the cafeteria stage by club President Hayley Fazio and club Treasurer Paige Fazio.  In addition, students were given the opportunity to donate toys to make this holiday special for disadvantaged children.  All of the toys were donated to the Toys of Hope organization, which provides toys, books, clothing, activities and other items to children on Long Island that otherwise would not have access to them.  This toy drive was a huge success thanks to the generosity of our students and staff!
