Island Trees School District continues to produce outstanding students.   One in particular, Santiago Perez was accepted into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s summer program for science and engineering.  MIT is one of the best colleges in the country with a global reputation for accepting only the best and brightest students.  Santiago not only competed well in the program’s rigorous academic assessments, but excelled against the world’s best during his six-week stay.
