Dear Island Trees Parents and Supporters,

            At this most joyous time of year, we would like to pause and send a simple but heartfelt message of thanks to the entire Island Trees Community.  The support you show our schools, the time you volunteer, and your presence at the many events in our school district means so much to us.

            Throughout this year, we have tried, more than ever, to highlight the many wonderful things happening in our schools.  We are now sharing “good news” with our entire community in a variety of ways.  As we marvel at what has been accomplished in the district, and by our students and staff, we know that none of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our entire school community.

            The holiday season often brings stress along with the celebrations.  We know this to be particularly true this year.  As the year winds down, we hope you are able to take the time to appreciate the biggest and best of life, and also the small pleasures that make life such a wonderful gift—sharing a story with your children, a visit to an old friend, the love of your family, and good health.
