ISLAND TREES HS MUSIC HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTIONS

The Island Trees High School Music Department is proud to announce the induction of 24 students into the Tri-M Music Honor Society.  The induction ceremony was held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Island Trees High School.  Tri-M, a program of the Music Educators National Conference, recognizes high school students for their musical and academic achievements.  Chapter advisor Greg Warnokowski welcomed the honorees and their families.  The Honorable Gary Hudes, Councilman for the Town of Hempstead was the honored guest speaker.  Assemblyman Joseph Saladino was also in attendance to congratulate our new inductees.  The audience was treated to a variety of musical performances by Daniel Dreyfus, Kyle Flynn, David Mannlein, Jenna Morlock, and John Samonte.  Congratulations to the following Tri-M inductees:
