Students at Michael F. Stokes Elementary School recently participated in the annual Reflections Contest, sponsored by the Stokes PTA. Students wrote or illustrated original pieces on the theme “Beauty is… This year’s school level winners are: Connor Lemanowicz; Ella Hohmann; Camden Liesau; Victoria Piedra; Zachary Schmidt; Ryan Peritz; Victoria Delia; Lily Kljyan and our Regional Winner, Michelina Messina.

 

The winners and their families were invited to the Stokes January PTA meeting to be recognized. Each winner was presented with a certificate and a gift card to Target from the Stokes PTA. The awards were given to the children by Dr. Murphy, Superintendent of Schools and Mrs. Newman, Stokes Principal.
