The Island Trees High School
community recently joined
together during the holiday
season on behalf of the needy
and less fortunate. The Music
Department organized the "Stuff
a Showcase" drive, collecting
donations from high school clubs
and activities to be distributed
to such deserving organizations
as L.I. Pet Shelters,
Schneider's Childrens Hospital,
Nassau Medical Center Pediatric
Unit, Big Brothers/Big Sisters
and local, needy families. The
HS Key Club, Tri-M Music Honor
Society, Girls Softball Team,
National Honor Society, Spanish
Club and Human Awareness Club
"stuffed the showcase" in the
main lobby of Island Trees HS
with donations that were
distributed to the
organizations.
Together, the Island Trees
students have made a difference!
