        First, I am thankful to be part of the Island Trees community and have the opportunity to work in such a supportive environment.  We are fortunate to have such a committed community who value education and the needs of our children.  Equally important, I'm thankful to work with a wonderful staff. It is their hard work with our schools and students which make Island Trees a very special place.  Last and clearly not least, I am thankful for such a wonderful student body. We are grateful for our students' dedication not only to their academic studies, but to the local community.  Each of our schools devoted student resources toward collecting food and money for needy families in our area.  Clearly, our future is in good hands.
