Students from the Island Trees HS Chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Susan Oliveto, participated in a "Broadway Classroom" field trip. Two cast members from the Broadway show "Wicked" worked with the students in learning the song "One Short Day" using the exact score and choreography from the Broadway classic. In addition to rehearsing and performing the song, students had a question and answer session with the Broadway clinicians to learn valuable information and theatrical advice. The day culminated with a matinee performance of "Wicked." It was an educational and enjoyable experience for all.
