Dear Island Trees School Community,

I am pleased to announce that the Island Trees High School lead remediation project has been completed.  The Island Trees High School administrative offices that were relocated to the middle school will now move back to the high school next week. I expect the administrative and clerical staff will finish this move by Wednesday,

August 18, 2010.

Please be aware that our custodial and maintenance team will now begin preparations to have the building open for the start of school on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  We still have a lot of cleaning work to do in a short time frame, so please call ahead if you plan on visiting the building.

For those community members interested, the final closeout report will take about two months to complete. Once we receive this detailed information, we will post on the Island Trees website.

In closing, I would like to thank the community and staff for your patience and understanding during this period of construction.
