Dear Parents/Guardians:

We were notified that an incident occurred on May 13, 2008, on Sky Lane

in Levittown. A dark-skinned man wearing a Mets’ cap driving a black van with tinted windows and Nebraska plates approached a student.  The police have been notified. 

We would appreciate your vigilance by reaffirming with your children the need to be wary of strangers.  Moreover, if you see such a vehicle and you have any suspicion about it, please try to get a license plate number and forward the number to your child’s school.  Please be assured that the police have been notified and that all district personnel are taking appropriate precautions.
